Our Story

Jan and I have been together since the Spring of 1994, the photo above was taken in Epping Forest a few months later.

We are both Aquarians, in our sixties, and live on Holy Island, just off Anglesey in North Wales. Jan fell in love with Holy Island on our first visit in 1998, and we spent all our holidays, and many weekends here, until in 2002 we were able to buy a house, and move here permanently.

Jan spent all her working life in Sales and Marketing. By contrast I worked in the corporate world, and I was the Finance Director / Operations Manager of a cutting edge IT Company in Liverpool for four years, before taking semi-retirement in 2004.

Back in the Eighties, with the first ever Alternative Designer Fragrance Networking Company in the UK, Jean Pierre Sands, Jan built and supported a team of over 5000 people. She put Network Marketing and Party Plan together, and wrote the Company's Party Plan Manual, which was sent out with every Fragrance Kit. Jan gave talks at major Company meetings all over the UK, and also appeared on the Company Training video, which also went out to the USA.

Despite having a range of only 30 fragrances, and a simple but functional sample kit, JPS was very successful, and paved the way for the companies which followed. Jan herself built a huge team within a short period of time, many of whom went on to build successful networking businesses of their own.

She was then head-hunted by another ADF Company, French Collection, which launched just after Echoes L'Arome, and wrote much of their Company training material. She won many Company awards for both top personal sales, and most successful team-builder, and was the only Distributor in that Company to achieve Directors Club status. She also travelled around the country taking an active role in all Company Training meetings.

Jan subsquently worked with similar companies LR International, and , of course , the well-known Echoes L'Arome.

When Jan and I got together in 1994 she told me of her success in Network Marketing, at first I was very sceptical but, having researched the concept, I was hooked !
